AARON AUERBACH from Los Angeles, California, told us “one little thing I do to unfuck the world is a simple and easy gesture: I always keeps extra energy bars in my car to give out to homeless people or those in need who stand at the street corner asking for help.” Aaron also told us about a really beautiful experience he had, visiting his grandfather Johannes “John” Stamm. We feel very honoured to have received a submission from Chloe McCarty, a most amazing and inspiring 13-year-old from Minnesota, who has gained internet fame with her beautiful and touching video about the challenges she faces living with trichotillomania, a neurological disorder that forces her to pull out her hair, causing her to be bald. Jason McCarty, Unfucking The World in Fridley, Minnesota
When Jason began to notice that more and more people in his hometown of Fridley, Minnesota were getting sick with cancer, he started a Cancer Cluster Group on Facebook that meanwhile has grown to 3,000 members. Jason also reached out to Erin Brockovich who you may know of through the movie that’s named after her. Erin got on board with Jason, and they just got back from a meeting with senators, representatives of the Minnesota Pollution Control and members of the Department of Health in the state capital Minneapolis trying to figure out what is going on.
